The Delegation of Catalonia of the Commission for Spain of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George will hold its traditional annual charity dinner on Thursday, 8 October 2026 , at the Círculo Ecuestre in Barcelona .
HRH Prince Juan of Bourbon Two Sicilies will attend the event on behalf of his august Father, HRH Prince Pedro of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke of Calabria, Count of Caserta , Head of the Royal House of the Two Sicilies.
All proceeds from the evening will be devoted entirely to supporting scholarships for students of the Colegio Español Nuestra Señora del Pilar, a historic school in the Old City of Jerusalem . The contribution will help cover school fees, educational materials for the academic year, and forms of direct assistance to families in situations of particular vulnerability, in a context of the Holy Land marked today by instability and rising economic difficulties , which risk undermining access to education—especially for the youngest and most vulnerable students.
Since 1923 , the Colegio del Pilar has been entrusted to the Missionary Sisters, Daughters of Calvary . For more than a century, the school has carried out an educational mission initially serving girls from the poorer segments of the Christian Quarter and today welcoming—without distinction on the basis of religion —Christian and Muslim girls. Admission of children to kindergarten/pre-school is also included.
Knights, Dames, Chaplains, Postulants, families, and friends of the Constantinian Order will be able to contribute concretely to sustaining students’ studies and helping build a future of dignity, culture, and mutual respect.
Participation is possible through three different modes:
- attending the charity dinner in Barcelona;
- contributing through the “Zero Table” initiative, reserved for those who wish to donate but cannot be present;
- supporting the evening through sponsorships by companies and institutions.
The initiative is intended to translate the principles of Christian charity and assistance to the most vulnerable into a tangible act aligned with the Sacred Military Constantinian Order. Supporting access to education means offering young people not only knowledge and skills, but also the opportunity to build their future in a setting grounded in encounter and mutual respect.
