On Thursday 9 May 2024 at 6.45 pm in the church of San Sepolcro in Milan, monthly Holy Mass will be celebrated by the Delegation of Lombardy of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, presided over by Monsignor Marco Maria Navoni, Prefect of the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana, Chaplain Jure Sanguinis of the Order, who will subsequently hold a conference on the topic The so-called Constantinian turning point according to Saint Ambrose.
Giving the announcement of this important conference, the Delegation’s liaison for cultural activities, Prof. Edoardo Teodoro Brioschi, Knight Grand Cross of Merit, recalled that the “Constantinian turning point” has been the recurring theme of a conference in the first period of the year, given its direct connection with the same name as the Constantinian Order. The conference will therefore be an opportunity to explore further this complex topic, in the light of the teaching of Saint Ambrose.
Then, Monsignor Marco Maria Navoni continued the discussion, widely developed with the past conferences on the “Constantinian turning point,” which were given by the Most Reverend Enrico dal Covolo, SDB, Titular Bishop of Eraclea, Chaplain Grand Cross Jure Sanguinis of the Constantinian Order, former Rector of the Pontifical Lateran University, Councilor of the Pontifical Committee of Historical Sciences, President of the Scientific Committee of the Bonifaciana Academy, and Professor of the Ambrosiana Academy.
