The next monthly meeting of the Lombardy Delegation of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George will take place on Saturday 5 October 2024 at 09.15 am at the Chiaravalle Abbey. There will be Mass, a guided tour and an explanation of the program planned for the next months.
On Sunday 13 October 2024 at 10.30 am at the Vigevano Cathedral, a representative of the Delegation will participate, upon invitation of the Bishop of Vigevano, in the celebration of the solemn Pontifical Mass for the feast of Blessed Matteo Carreri, together with Saint Ambrose, Patron of the City of Vigevano, in the presence of the mayor, the municipality and the 12 historic districts of the city.
Monthly meeting at the Chiaravalle Abbey on Saturday 5 October 2024
The Mass will be officiated by a Constantinian chaplain. Following this there will be a guided tour of the abbey and a confraternal meal at the adjacent restaurant. On this occasion, the Promoter of the Cultural Activities of the Delegation, Prof. Edoardo Teodoro Brioschi, Knight Grand Cross of Merit, will explain the program of delegation activities planned for the coming months.
Feast of Blessed Matteo Carreri in Vigevano on Sunday 13 October 2024
The Delegation of Lombardy of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George was invited by the Most Reverend Maurizio Gervasoni, Bishop of Vigevano, to participate on Sunday 13 October 2024 at the Cathedral of Vigevano in the celebration of the solemn Pontifical Mass for the feast of San Matteo Carreri, Patron of Vigevano, in the presence of the mayor, the municipality and the 12 historic city districts.
