On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, a representation from the Naples and Campania Delegation of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George participated in the Procession of Our Lady of Grace in Montesarchio. She is venerated as Queen of Sannio and Patron Saint of Benevento. The procession was held at the invitation of the Delegate for Naples and Campania, Count Gianluigi Gaetani dell’Aquila d’Aragona of the Dukes of Laurenzana, Neapolitan Patrician, Constantinian Knight of Justice; Monsignor Antonio Raviele, Parish Priest of San Giovanni Battista, of the Holy Trinity and of Our Lady of Purity, San Pio and San Leone; and Father Antonio De Ieso, Assistant Parish Priest of San Giovanni Battista.
The procession, held this year with particular significance and solemnity as part of the Holy Year of Hope, was attended by local confraternities, prayer groups, and religious associations, accompanied by marching bands. They were followed by the city clergy and the statue of the Most Holy Mediatrix of All Graces, carried with devotion and respect by its bearers, demonstrating their love for Mary and testifying to a faith lived in communion, capable of uniting and strengthening a sense of belonging. The response of the population was warm and generous: families, young people, the elderly, and children enthusiastically participated, while those unable to be present expressed their prayers and affection. The participation of civil and military authorities was significant.
Among those taking part in the solemn celebrations were Luigi Cerciello, Valerio Massimo Miletti, and Francesco Saverio Barbato Romano, Knights of Merit; Nicola Scarinzi, Knight of Office; and friends and supporters of the Constantinian Order, Mauro Barbarisi and Andrea D’Aloia.
In the following days, as well as before the final Blessing of the Eucharistic Celebration, the Festival Committee expressly thanked the Naples and Campania Delegation of the Constantinian Order by posting posters that read: “Above all else, we turn our gaze to You, Most Holy Mary of Grace. Under Your maternal gaze, we have gathered, entrusting to You our thoughts, desires, and labors. To You we entrust our future, our families, our work, and our hope. May this celebration remain a living memory of a shared journey, a sign of a community that believes, supports one another, and looks forward with gratitude and trust.”
