At the invitation of the parish community and the civic authorities of Oriolo Romano, a qualified representation of the Tuscia and Sabina Delegation of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, led by the Nob. Avv. Roberto Saccarello, Knight Grand Cross of Jure Sanguinis with Gold Star, on Sunday 4 May 2025 took part in the traditional Procession in honor of Saint George the Martyr, patron saint of the Constantinian Order and of the charming town of Upper Lazio. Oriolo Romano is a small town on the border between the province of Rome and that of Viterbo, of which it is part, just 50 km from Rome. The municipal territory extends over a hilly area rich in tall forests, along the Via Clodia, an ancient road that connected the north of the Roman countryside with Tuscany, today partly parallel to the Via Braccianese and the Via Cassia. As per tradition, the Constantinian knights provided an honorary escort to the statue of Saint George the Martyr.
