On the eve of the liturgical memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., the Church of the Holy Trinity–Shrine of Mary Most Holy Liberatrix in Viterbo, Italy hosted an evening of Marian spirituality with Fra’ Carmine Ranieri, OFM Cap., who delivered a reflection entitled Mary, Virgin Become Church.
On the following day, May 13, Wednesday of the Sixth Week of Easter, the liturgical memorial of Our Lady of Fatima was solemnly celebrated according to long-standing tradition. The statue of the Virgin was displayed in the seventeenth-century wooden choir stalls and made the object of special veneration, as occurs on the first Saturday of every month.
A representation of Constantinian Knights, led by the Delegate, Nob. Attorney Roberto Saccarello, Knight Grand Cross of Jure Sanguinis with Gold Star, participated in the solemn Holy Mass celebrated at 6:30 p.m. by the Bishop Emeritus of Viterbo, His Excellency the Most Reverend Lino Fumagalli, Chaplain Grand Cross of Merit. Concelebrating were Father Vito Logoteto, OSA, Prior of the Augustinian Community, and Father Giuseppe Cacciotti, OSA, Pastor of the parish.
In his homily, Bishop Fumagalli presented Fatima as a light from God, a proclamation of mercy, and a message of peace. He recalled that the Blessed Virgin calls humanity to conversion, prayer, and trust in the triumph of the Immaculate Heart, so that the world may rediscover justice, concord, and peace.
At the conclusion of the Mass, Bishop Fumagalli, the concelebrants, the ministers, and the Constantinian Knights processed to the altar of Our Lady Liberatrix for the singing of the Salve Regina and the recitation of the Act of Entrustment to Mary.
