On Sunday, 1 June 2025, the Jubilee Mass of the Constantinian Order’s Delegation of Catalonia was celebrated at the Military Parish of the Immaculate Conception in Barcelona, Spain, the Priory of the Delegation of Catalonia. Those present were able to obtain a plenary indulgence, having fulfilled the spiritual and sacramental conditions required by the Holy See. The Mass was presided over by His Excellency the Reverend Francisco-Javier Orpinell Marco, Prior of the Delegation of Catalonia, Military Parish Priest, and Principal Chaplain of the Second Ecclesiastical Circumscription.
The Constantinian representation on this solemn occasion was led by the Delegate of the Constantinian Order in Catalonia, His Excellency the Marquis of Ciutadilla, accompanied by a large portion of his Council and a large group of knights and dames, as well as family members and friends of the Order, along with parishioners of the parish.
The solemn jubilee celebration coincided with the blessing of the restored baptismal font from the former Royal Palace of Barcelona, which, after many vicissitudes, was in place at the parish church. Thanks to the efforts of several members of the Delegations of Catalonia and Valencia, its historical authenticity was confirmed and its restoration funded. The Delegates of the sister Constantinian Delegations of the former Crown of Aragon and of Valencia, His Excellency Juan Luís Doncel y Paredes for Aragon and His Excellency Francisco-Javier Fernández Auñón for Valencia, attended the occasion, along with His Excellency Ignacio Ballester y Borrell, Secretary of the latter, and Pilar López y Franco.
At the end of the ceremony, the Delegate of Catalonia, in thanksgiving, commended the work and projects of the Delegation to the Immaculate Conception and placed the work and projects of the Delegation under her maternal protection with this prayer:
O Immaculate One, Queen of Heaven and Earth, refuge of sinners and our most loving Mother, we, members of the Constantinian Order of Saint George in Catalonia, prostrate ourselves at your feet; in your immaculate and merciful hands, may we be an instrument that serves to establish and expand as much as possible the Kingdom your Son announced. Take us as your most humble servants and grant that, as at the wedding at Canaan, we may always be ready to do whatever He tells us. Amen.
After the ceremony, a confraternal luncheon was held to conclude the day.
